Recognizing the fundamental communication and teaching skills that healthcare professionals possess, they have developed this unique program to assist providers in the transition to health coaching.

Melinda Huffman, BSN, MSN, CCNS (Contact Melinda) Principal of Miller & Huffman Outcome Architects, LLC is an author, writer and speaker with 30 years of healthcare experience ranging from hospital administration, to home care executive management.

She is a former Director of Disease Management for a large, southeastern homecare corporation and Director of Nursing Education, Motlow College in Lynchburg, TN.
She received her BSN from the University of Alabama, Birmingham and a MSN in Cardiovascular Clinical Specialization from the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC.  

Melinda is the author of the homecare best seller: Implementing Outcome-Based Homecare: A Workbook of OBQI, Care Pathways and Disease Management and is receiving high praise for her latest work, Home Health Outcomes, Pay for Performance, Disease Management: Gold Nuggets to Success!  

She is a member of the Editorial Board for Home Healthcare Nurse and writes regularly for nationally known home care journals and newsletters.

Colleen Miller, RN, BS, CSBC (Contact Colleen) Principal and Co-owner of Miller & Huffman Outcome Architects, LLC is an author, writer, speaker, clinical outcome systems designer and Certified Small Business Coach with 30+ years healthcare clinical, operational and executive leadership experience.

Colleen's focus for the last 13 years has been quality outcomes, evidence-based practice, chronic condition disease management, health coaching strategies/techniques and health outcome systems design and integration, including telehealth and web-based applications. Colleen is the Co-developer of WOCN-Connect, a web-based Telewound Care Service (www.wocn-connect) owned and operated by Miller & Huffman Outcome Architects, LLC, and Co-founder of the National Society Health Coaches (www.nwhcoa.com).

Colleen has authored many publications and articles including: ICD-9-CM Coding Quick Reference for Home Health Clinicians and Managers 1st and 2nd Editions, 2005 & 2006 Published by Hopkins Education Resources, co-author of Evidence-based Interventions & Decision Support for the Management of Chronic Conditions in OASIS C, 2010 and BluePrints for Chronic Condition Management, 2009 – both Published by Miller & Huffman Outcome Architects. She is also the Researcher/Developer of the Teletriage Symptom Reference contained in the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services Quality Insights Home Health Telehealth Reference 2006/2007 and is a contributing author of Implementing Outcome-Based Home Care; a Workbook of OBQI, Care Pathways and Disease Management.

Colleen is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Covenant College with degrees in Nursing and Business.
